Coconut Based MCT Oil

There are several raw materials to extract MCT oil. The most famous being Coconut and Palm Kernal. Coconut oil contains approximately 60–70% MCT. Palm kernel oil with approximately has 2% C6, 55% C8, 42% C10 and 1% C12 fatty acids (AOCS, 2007). The MCT oil that SMR promotes is purely of coconut origin (No palm or any other sources used).

At the moment, its not organic certified. But we are working with the certification agencies to include in the scope.

In 2018, the company went a step further from ISO 22000, and obtained GFSI recognised FSSC 22000 certification in order to add more value and trust to our international transactions. The company partnered with the leading Norwegian certification agency DNV-GL in order to obtain the certification.

We have a written & implemented customer complaint handling procedure. As per the procedure (Which also fulfils the requirements of safety systems we have placed), we gather information, perform root cause analysis, offer and execute solutions and follow up with the customers. If it’s a quality related issue, our Quality Assurance department will be in direct touch with the customers. We also have a proper back tracing system in place to track down the product in each step of the supply chain.

Yes, we do. Our quality assurance division have developed documented product recall procedures as per requirements of FSSC 22000 certification system. The procedure is tested by mock recalls annually and undergoes continuous improvements each year.
