Do you think saturated fat is unhealthy? Actually naturally occurring saturated fat is extremely naturally healthy for you. Artificially created saturated fat also known as trans-fat is not good for human life. Food distributors add extra hydrogen atoms to unsaturated products such as vegetable oil or seed oil in a process called hydrogenation so the products will last longer. This is partly due to the combined presence of pacific, lauric and caprylic acids, which boost the production of lipo-protein, the “good” cholesterol that improve the health of your heart.
